
Our first aid courses focus on practical skills and confidence in emergency situations.
Training is hands-on and scenario-based to prepare participants for real-life incidents.
Course Format
• Standard course duration: 4 hours
• Maximum 12 participants per course to ensure high training quality and individual attention
Core Topics
Human factors and personal safety
Understanding human stress reactions, assessing risks and acting safely.
Emergency activation and communication
How to activate emergency medical services and provide clear, structured information.
Basic Life Support & AED
Recognition of cardiac arrest, CPR and safe AED use.
Core medical emergencies
Recognition and initial management of severe bleeding, choking, unconsciousness, heart attack and stroke.
Additional Modules (optional)
Additional modules can be integrated to address specific risks or medical situations relevant to your team. Examples may include:
• Head injuries
• Spinal injuries
• Asthma and breathing difficulties
• Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
Training Setup
Courses are usually delivered on-site at your workplace or at an agreed location anywhere in Switzerland.
The host organisation is asked to provide:
• A suitable training room
• A projector or screen
• Basic seating arrangements
All training equipment and materials are provided by lifesavers.ch.
